ABOUT HENNA

Since ancient times Henna body art has adorned bodies for all kinds of celebrations. It is traditionally used by brides of the east and symbolises, love, fertility, health and prosperity for marriage. This unique art has recently cossed cultures and is popular for events such as parties and corporate functions as well as in the fashion world.

Henna is a temporary and safe tatoo that uses natural herbs and oils to stain the skin with all kinds of intricate designs. This means you can be a bit wild without the commitment and it is great fun especially for parties where many girls (or boys!) gather. After applying the henna design the paste is left on for 1-2 hours and when it has dried it is removed. Over the next 48 hours a transformation takes place as the beautiful patterns turn from light orange to a dark brownish colour, gradually fading after 1-2 weeks.
